Choose Your Board

Eco-Board®

Overview: EcoBoard is made of straw! The straw used to manufacture it is a natural waste product from cereal (such as wheat) crop production. Straw is a natural, continuously renewable, fast growing raw material. As the straw is available as a consequence of food production it is free of many environmental ‘costs’. The board is also held together using a zero formaldehyde glue, unlike most other board materials.

Benefits: Apart from the environmental credentials of EcoBoard, it's a cost effective, ready made replacement for normal board materials which can be clad, clear varnished or even left as is to form the foundation of your kitchen units.

Birch Plywood

Overview: Birch ply is made up of FSC® wood veneers ideal for high end joinery. It is considered the highest end plywood board due to its high quality smooth surface face and neat edges, which give a Scandinavian flare when used for furniture applications.

Benefits: As mentioned above, birch plywood is strong, long lasting and gives a wonderful finish to any kitchen. applying a veneer or using as is are both good options. Birch ply units can be truly made for deconstruction, allowing long term re-use as specified.

Bamboo Plywood

Overview: Providing the "classic bamboo plywood" look, bamboo plywood is made from 100% rapidly renewable bamboo. Offering excellent dimensional stability, bamboo plywood comes in colour options of Amber and Natural. As standard it is also FSC® Certified.

Benefits: Bamboo ply is a truly high end material, which can be used entirely - or as well as - other board materials throughout the kitchen. On it's own a beautiful frontage.

Reclaimed Boards

Overview: We like to save wood from needlessly going to landfill, so do other great organisations we work with like RAW Workshop. So we save, clean up and join boards to create beautiful, new framed or solid wood panel kitchens.

Benefits: Reclaimed timber kitchens not only look fantastic, they're strong, high quality and truly sustainable in preventing use of new materials.
